invisalign

case #1

Result: This was life changing for the patient giving them confidence with their new smile, and how they presented themselves to the world.

Details: Severe crowding corrected by Invisalign in conjunction with contouring desired teeth properly, allowing teeth and arches to align.

invisalign

case #2

Results: The patient was overjoyed to have their gummy smile corrected and more symmetrical. Thrilled with this life-changing makeover, and the fact that we were able to retain their natural teeth avoiding veneers, they can now smile with confidence.

Details: The patient originally came to me to do veneers though with guidance and discussing options, we approached the case differently and I feel with an even better result.

The patient had crowding, worn/chipped teeth, and deep bite corrected by Invisalign. After alignment with Invisalgn we raised their tissue level via “Aesthetic Crown Lengthening” removing the “gummy smile” that they did not like and to top off the case I did bonding of composite on teeth the patient desired for the final overall appearance.

invisalign

case #3

Result: Patient was thrilled with their new smile and was very happy with their decision to opt for grafting as opposed to tooth removal.

Details: Severe crowding corrected by Invisalign in conjunction with contouring desired teeth properly, allowing teeth and arches to align.

Often it can be looked at that a tooth would needed to be extracted though always best to look at saving all teeth and consider shaping/contouring if case allows.

Patient was under the impression they would need a tooth removed, we discussed options and they wanted to save all their teeth, knowing we would likely need to do some grafting at the end of alignment which we do on lower front tooth.

INVISalign

case #4

Result: Patient was beyond happy to smile again without feeling self-conscious. This result restored function and beauty.

Details: Severe crowding corrected by Invisalign.  This case included bonding composite on upper congenitally small lateral teeth, which increased size of the upper arch in conjunction with tooth contouring properly allowing the arches to align correctly.

As when aligning overcrowded teeth such as with the lower front teeth, one can have bonding of composite to close the areas around the gum line to make teeth have more full contour if desired.

invisalign

case #5

Results: The patient was elated with their new smile after all the years growing up and not liking their smile.

Details: This case was achieved with Invisalign. There was excess spacing due to congenitally small laterals. We aligned the teeth by contouring the shape of the front teeth along with properly angling them toward the “bellybutton” and then making equal spaces around the congenital small lateral teeth. Once in position, the bonding of composite was performed on the congenitally small laterals. There was contouring of other teeth in both arches to bring the angles, alignment, and arches together.

When closing excess space, teeth angles and arch alignment have to be considered. If not, the result can present with an undesired appearance by too narrow and or splaying of the teeth to accomplish closing spaces.

INVISalign

case #6

Result: Crowded and misaligned teeth corrected by Invisalign restores function and beauty.

Details: Alignment helps decrease teeth/roots stress that can cause recession allowing healthier tissue to either be ready for grafting or monitored after alignment.

invisalign

case #7

Result: Severe crowding corrected by Invisalign in conjunction with contouring desired teeth, properly allowing teeth and arches to align.

Details: Often it can be looked at that a tooth would need to be extracted though always best to look at saving all teeth and consider shaping/contouring if case allows.

invisalign

case #8

Result: Patient was super excited to smile and is now loving their smile.

Details: Anterior crossbite with congenital small peg lateral teeth corrected by Invisalign, allowing for proper function of the teeth.

Once teeth were in proper alignment then two porcelain veneers were placed to make lateral teeth proper size and look.

INVISalign

case #9

Result: Patient was ecstatic to bite and cut food the way our bite was designed to do.

Details: Anterior Openbite & Crossbite corrected by Invisalign, allowing for proper function of the teeth.

invisalign

case #10

Result: The patient loved the ability to not be guarded when smiling smile and to smile with confidence.

Details: Severe crowding corrected by Invisalign.  This case included bonding composite on upper congenitally small lateral teeth which increased size of the upper arch in conjunction with teeth contouring properly, allowing the arches to align correctly.

invisalign

case #11

Result: I remember the day the patient sent me a picture of being able to bite into a sandwich. They were thrilled that they was able to fully bite through with their front teeth.

Details: Anterior Openbite and Crossbite corrected by Invisalign, allowing for proper function of the teeth. I performed a small amount of contouring and small amounts of bonding composite on a few teeth to enhance the appearance.

Invisalign

case #12

Result: The patient was completely blown away with their new brilliant smile as they had orthodontics before and it was not successful.

Details: This case was accomplished by Invisalign in conjunction with contouring misshaped teeth, bonding congenital small top lateral teeth.

Before Invisalign, I shaped the front two teeth and bonded composite to the latter teeth, building the upper arch dimension. This allows for closure of the excess space, and resolves crowding on the lower arch without making the patients smile appear collapsed, and prevents too much pressure on the roots preserving tissue integrity.

invisalign

case #13

Results: Patient is so happy with their new smile.  They appreciated the professional dedication we provided to get what they wanted and deserved.

Details: The patient was reluctant to do treatment because of a previous negative result from another dentist. However, after we reviewed how our process was different, they they put their trust in me and are thrilled with the results.

The protruded and misaligned teeth were corrected by Invisalign.

We corrected this with contouring teeth in conjunction with Invisalign’s attachments to guide teeth into proper position to allow function and alignment.

Invisalign

case #14

Results: This was life changing for the patient giving them confidence with their new smile and how they presented themselves.

Details: Crowding corrected by Invisalign in conjunction with contouring desired teeth properly allowing teeth and arches to align.

We reshaped the front upper teeth along the alignment process in hopes to not need and restorative work and we nailed it with the patient beyond happy with the result.

invisalign

case #15

Results: After years of procrastination my patient was astonished with their new smile and completely satisfied they took the time to align their teeth and my attention to detail.

Details: Severe crowding corrected by Invisalign.  This case included bonding composite on upper congenitally small lateral teeth which increased size of the upper arch in conjunction with tooth contouring properly allowing the arches to align correctly.

invisalign

case #16

Result: The patient was astonished by how we were able to keep all their teeth while giving a dazzling smile that matches their personality.

Details: Severe crowding corrected by Invisalgn in conjunction with contouring desired teeth properly allowing teeth and arches to align.

Patient was proposed by other clinician to remove total of (4) teeth, (2) teeth from upper and lower each to help with crowding.

With such a full and dynamic smile, I considered with permission via patient to retain all teeth by performing more shaping and contouring of teeth to achieve this amazing smile.

invisalign

case #17

Results: The patient was beyond happy with their new smile and made it them feel more confident and happy the results.

Details: Severe crowding corrected by Invisalign. This case included bonding composite on upper congenitally small laterals which increased size of the upper arch in conjunction with tooth contouring properly allowing the arches to align correctly.

We created space through tooth movement, once accomplished, we then bonded composite to the laterals.

To complete their transformation, we leveled out the tissue over the front teeth using a laser.

invisalign

case #18

Result: The patient was elated with their new smile, they were never fond of the large space between their teeth while growing up.

Details: In this case we used Invisalign. There was excess spacing due to congenitally small lateral & central teeth which created a large diastema “space” between the front teeth.

We aligned the teeth by contouring the shape of teeth in both arches along correcting the angle, pointing them toward the “bellybutton” and then creating appropriate spaces around the congenital smaller teeth. Once in position the bonding of composite was performed to four front teeth. There was contouring of other teeth in both arches to bring the angles, alignment and arches together.  When closing excess space, teeth angles and arch alignment have to be considered. If not, the result can present with an undesired appearance by too narrow and or splaying of the teeth to accomplish closing spaces.

invisalign

case #19

Result: The patient never liked to smile and at the end of Invisalgn, they were filled with joy to smile.

Details: Severe crowding corrected by Invisalgn in conjunction with contouring desired teeth getting to into a more proper position allowing teeth and arches to align.

veneers

case #1

Results: The patient was utterly shocked and ecstatic with how this transformed the way they presented herself when speaking and smiling.

Details: This patient came to me for a second opinion after already starting orthodontics and dental care with another team. The orthodontist wanted more guidance on how to help this patient get their desired results due to the complexity of care needed. After meeting the patient, myself, and the orthodontist we established a plan to help the patient achieve their goals. Working together closely, we made the process as easy as possible for the patient.

Once the teeth were in position, I could add bonded composite, I then bonded to the upper teeth to guide the orthodontist to the final position for my restorative work. Additionally, we knew the patient was not happy with how much tissue they showed when they smiled, so we sent them to the periodontist for “esthetic crown lengthening” for all the upper arches, reducing their gummy smile.

This process is significantly one of the coolest things I see in dentistry as it is life changing in every way. This case was selected by the American Academy of Periodontics for Comprehensive Dental Care and Teamwork. We presented how a team can masterfully work together to successfully accomplish the patients desires along with achieving each clinician’s goal too.

veneers

case #2

Result: The patient enjoyed the process and attention to detail and loves having the desired smile he (was – delete) always wanted

Details: This patient did not appreciate the way their smile looked personally and in photos. They felt their teeth appeared to look more like that of a kid’s mouth. We went over several options and decided that it was best to do some alignment and intruding the lower teeth with Invisalign.

With Invisalign, we were able to get the teeth into the ideal position, allowing us to restore the upper four teeth with porcelain veneers. Then I was able to raise the tissue on the front four teeth enhancing the proper dimension for a more adult aesthetic appearance.

veneers

case #3

Results: The patient was extremely happy with their smile and appreciated the thoughtfulness of keeping a natural tooth and successfully integrating it with veneers.

Details: This case was interesting as the patient had generally great teeth with exception to damage to the canines and the front two teeth.

After reviewing options, we decided to do porcelain veneers on all five (5) of the front upper teeth. The left little tooth that sits between the front tooth and the canine tooth was healthy and shaped well that I decided to keep it intact. I knew it could be a challenge leaving a lone tooth in the middle around all other restored teeth, but I am convicted to this approach of keeping healthy teeth at all costs.

During the process, I had to send the case back once to get restorative work slightly tweaked and next visit they matched perfect. Generally, porcelain veneers are slightly more polished yielding a shinier appearance. I could either polish up the natural tooth and or reduce the polish on the veneers to match with 100% success. This is a great example of how you can make veneers totally integrated with your natural teeth for a seamless, beautiful smile.

veneers

case #4

Results: The patient was ecstatic with her smile and wished they did it earlier.

Details: This case is why I do what I do. It was a fun and rewarding case for me and here is why. This patient suffered from dental anxiety and so doing dental work was very challenging which inhibited them from improving their smile.

She disliked their smile with a passion and finally when the were retiring decided to consult with me to go over their wishes and see if we could come up with a plan that allowed them to feel comfortable enough to move forward. We decided to handle their case using conscious sedation to help lessen their anxiety. They were comfortable with the approach which allowed us to add ten (10) porcelain veneers. Afterwards, they were ecstatic with the outcome and loves their new smile. I remember their one comment “why did I wait until I retired”. I find it fully satisfying to help someone get from a place they do not like and end in a place where they are 100% content!

veneers

case #5

Results: The patient loves their new smile and very much appreciates the guidance and dental care we provide.

Details: For this case we met to consider all options as they had severe wear on several teeth including malalignment and crowding.

The patient did not like how their teeth were not in their proper positions, a gummy smile, worn-looking teeth at angles that were not desirable.

We decided to do Invisalign to straighten the teeth, raise the tissue to decrease gumminess, do four front porcelain veneers and bonded composite on the canines and a couple of lower teeth to conservatively restore them and improve their function.

veneers

case #6

Results: The outcome was beyond the patient’s expectations and fully loves their new look.

Details: I was honored to have the opportunity to work with this patient for over a decade before they were moving out of the state. They asked me to create a smile they would love before leaving. I was truly proud to deliver the smile that would make them happy again and last a lifetime.

I worked up a diagnostic plan to deliver their ideal smile and presented this to them and they loved it. The work included doing ten (10) porcelain veneers.

veneers

case #7

Results: I was honored to serve this patient and am happy they are pleased with the results we achieved for her.

Details: The patient continuously chipped multiple front teeth on both the upper and lower arches. Over the years I would place bonded composite onto the chipped teeth which would last different amounts of time so at one point I suggested doing porcelain veneers to make something more durable. They initially resisted getting them but after seeing another dentist and receiving a second opinion and continued getting chips in their teeth they decided to proceed with my recommendation.

veneers

case #8

Results: In the end the patient was happy with the result and new they could always add more veneers if desired.

Details: The patient was not happy with their current six (6) veneers and the uneven gummy smile, they also was not interested in doing orthodontics. This decision caused me to modify my original plan, so I opted to raise and level the gums then replace the veneers. This allowed me to add one more veneer on each side to help balance out the sides, providing a more pleasing smile.

veneers

case #9

Results: They love their new smile and realizes it was worth the time and investment.

Details: This patient did not like their smoke-stained teeth and wanted to see a smile that looked healthier and younger.

We did an upper arch rehab that included restoring the teeth with a combination of porcelain veneers and crowns. Later plans are to restore the lower arch as the patient is currently wearing retainers.

veneers

case #10

Results: They are truly amazed how their smile looks and loves the results.

Details: We had this patient come to us from an orthodontist once the teeth were aligned. We went over options and due to the amount of wear and damage to their teeth and loss of stability and function, we decided to complete this case with ten (10) porcelain veneers.

veneers

case #11

Results: Their desires were completely met, and they were totally satisfied with the end result.

Details: This was a patient who wanted to see an improvement from their discolored and worn/chipped teeth.

First, we performed porcelain veneers on the front six (6) teeth helping with recapturing proper function and aesthetics. Next, we did align their lower teeth with Invisalign. In their case, we were able to restore upper teeth without positioning the lower teeth first.

She appreciated having an opportunity to improve the overall appearance of their teeth and later to do Invisalign to complete the restoration.

crowns/bridges

case #1

Results: The patient loved their new smile and continues to enjoy their smile everyday.

This was an exceptionally special and exciting case to work through.

When I met the patient, they was under the care of a periodontist and a dentist for about ten years. They had a number of implants fail and was told “he could not grow bone and had been wearing temporaries on all their teeth during all these years. They had lost all hope and figured they would never be able to eat meat again. Our team designed a plan to help our patient achieve their dreams of having a healthy stable mouth. We rebuilt their mouth with a total of 16 implants that spanned individual teeth along with bridging many missing tooth areas.

We engaged in creating a team to journey down this road to get them to their dreams of having a healthy stable mouth.

To accomplish this we rebuilt their mouth with a total of 16 implants that spanned individual teeth along with bridging many missing tooth areas.

Once this was completed, four of the back teeth were (restored with crowns replacing the failing restorations and) to fill the negative space in their smile.

crowns/bridges

case #2

Results: The patient was thrilled with the outcome and enjoys smiling now.

Details: The patient did not like their poorly matched existing bridge with tooth angles that were not correct presenting a less than desirable appearance.

After examining the best options we decided to replace their bridge and three veneers on the left side that mirrored the same teeth as the bridge.

crowns/bridges

case #3

Results: The patient is so pleased with their outstanding results and is enthusiastically smiling again.

Details: The patient was wearing a removable denture for years after not having success (due to implants that failed which) supported a bridge, they were fearful of implant failure again. So, doing new implants was not an option and they was tired of wearing a removable denture.

Based on their experience, we decided the best option was doing a long spam permanent bridge with abutting (stabilizing) off two teeth on each side and added tissue color porcelain to fill the deficient tissue/bone, yielding better aesthetics.

implant

case #1

Results: The patient was exuberantly thrilled at the end of the journey and proudly (could) smile (and confidently eat again.)

Details: When I met the patient, they was under the care of a periodontist and a dentist for about ten years. They had a number of implants fail and was told “he could not grow bone and had been wearing temporaries on all their teeth during all these years. They had lost all hope and figured they would never be able to eat meat again. Our team designed a plan to help our patient achieve their dreams of having a healthy stable mouth. We rebuilt their mouth with a total of 16 implants that spanned individual teeth along with bridging many missing tooth areas.

implant

case #2

Result: (The Implant) turned out completely natural and they appreciated all the care and attention to detail.

Details: The patient called the office after “hearing a crack when biting down on some hard food”. We went over options of either an implant and or a bridge and decided the best option for them was to do an implant. The results are beautiful even though we did have to send the crown back to the lab a couple times to perfect the color.

implant

case #3

Result: It turned out completely natural and they appreciated all the care and attention to detail.

Details: The patient had a failing root canal with no options of restoring the tooth. Based on that we decided to do an implant.

The natural tooth had a small area of recession with some slight coloring so we had the lab design it to look the same.

implant

case #4

Result: Everything turned out wonderful and the patient was beyond happy with the look and feel of their new tooth.

Details: Patient had trauma and recently resorption of the tooth that led to failure.  We aligned their teeth with Invisalign during the process of the tooth removal, implant placement and healing of the implant.

implant

case #5

Result: The patient was totally happy with their smile not having a missing tooth and or dark tooth anymore.

Details: The patient was referred to our office after their orthodontics was completed. We discussed options and decided to do an implant. Once the implant was ready to restore, we had them see the (endodontists) for internal bleaching on the dark root canal tooth and then completed the case with doing four porcelain restorations.

Composite

case #1

Results: Once finished with the dental care and no more long drives from BC, the patient was ecstatic with their new smile. We did not do any prepping of any teeth for veneers and happily accomplished the patient’s goals.

Details: This case has an amazing story. I met the person in passing, up in Granville Island, Vancouver, BC while getting a coffee. I saw that they was using Invisalign and asked how it was going which ended in a long frustrating story.

By the end of the conversation, I invited the patient who lived in Canada to visit my office for me to look at options with helping them finish their case and get a better aesthetic smile and function.

He came down and for about three hours I contoured and bonded composite to their teeth making the teeth appear more appropriate and naturally shaped which could guide my orthodontist to properly place the teeth into the correct position including having my periodontist place an implant.

We did SFOT (Surgically Facilitated Orthodontic Treatment) to aid in the transportation of tooth #10 into correct position along with bringing tooth #12 into missing tooth #11 location therefore being able to move the implant further from the patient’s smile area providing a great aesthetic result.

Composite

case #2

Result: They were beyond happy with their new beautiful smile.

Details: This patient had congenitally mis-shaped teeth and was not happy with their smile. The teeth were orthodontically placed in position which then allowed me to sculpt and make their teeth more aesthetically pleasing. This case was accomplished with not altering the teeth at all, rather bonding composite directly to the teeth after sand blasting, etching and bonding composite directly to the teeth.

If the patient wanted to return to their prior natural shape, the aesthetically added composite could be removed with no harm done to their natural teeth.

Composite

case #3

Results: The patient loved the thoughtfulness and attention to detail and is thrilled with their new look.

Details: The patient was happy with their upper teeth which are nicely aligned yet had lots of spaces between teeth in the lower mouth. Looking and discussing options to resolve the spaces the patient and I decided to do bonding of composite to close the space. This conservative approach allowed us not to alter their existing teeth yet improve the aesthetics.

Composite

case #4

Results: Once completed the patient was thrilled with the outcome beyond their desires.

Details: This patient was referred to us once their orthodontist aligned the teeth. The patient was ready for bonding of composite then final retainers. We discussed the desired outcome, and some key points were to see less gums when smiling along with a brighter smile. We whitened their teeth, raised the tissue with a laser and completed the bonded composite.

Composite

case #5

Results: They loved the care, guidance, and most of all how their smile looks now.

Details: This patient had worn down their front teeth causing their upper and lower teeth to not align well. This was further aggravated by a prior habit of nail biting.

We used Invisalign to contour (and) pull the lower teeth back away from colliding into the front upper teeth then placed bonded composite on front upper six (6) teeth to recreate proper function and aesthetics. The case turned out wonderful with bringing the teeth back to function properly and provide a more youthful natural look.

Composite

case #6

Results: The patient was very appreciative with the care and consideration we took with the restoration of their smile.

Details: The patient presented for a second opinion after crashing into a ladder during a physical ninja contest. They were told they would need two porcelain veneers to restore their smile.

After a thorough exam, I evaluated all options and realized the teeth would (potentially-delete) (not-add) collide, so, I felt this case could be restored with bonded composite replacing the missing portions of the teeth. The patient loved this approach, and we discussed that if this didn’t last, we could then always migrate to porcelain, though that approach would be more aggressive with some reduction of the natural tooth structure.

This trauma occurred about 8 years ago, and as of today, the bonded composite is still 100%. The results are great, and I would say the patient is happy with the approach and results.

Composite

case #7

Results: It is always so amazing and rewarding to see you helped someone get a beautiful smile and be so happy with their dental care.

Details: The patient hated to smile or see any pictures of her smile. I went through thoughts of doing Invisalign and porcelain veneers, but, upon further examination and learning the patient didn’t sleep well and suffered migraines(,) I felt they may have sleep issues so did not want to close any spaces and make them more restricted. I encouraged them to get their sleep tested.

In the end we kept the teeth in the current position and used bonded composite to correct their smile. When we sat the patient up and had them look at the work, I remember how they gasped and then just started to cry with happiness.

Composite

case #8

Results: We took a conservative approach and the patient loved how we accomplished the smile they are now proud of.

Details: This patient came into our office with older bonded composite on the four front teeth and they were tired of seeing their smile the way it was. We discussed doing porcelain veneers and bonded composites. In the end we decided to reshape the teeth and apply bonded composites.

Composite

case #9

Results: The patient was very happy with our conservative approach and keeping costs in line with their budget.

Details: They presented with significant wear across all their teeth from years of grinding. For years the patient wore a night guard and tried to keep the wear from progressing until they were able to move forward with the dental work. At one point we discussed trying to keep the cost down by doing bonded composites all along with recapturing the tooth function and guidance. We ended up performing and creating 10 (ten) bonded composite veneers.

We were successful for years and later have changed the four (front teeth) to porcelain while all the others still remain as composites.

Composite

case #10

Results: We accomplished a great result with less time and money and the patient was truly excited about their new smile.

Details: I remember when this patient came in for a consult and wanted to do veneers. They had several retained baby teeth with no adult teeth to succeed into position of those baby teeth.

She was told by another dentist that these baby teeth would fail at around age 30. Being nearly 30, they were very concerned about losing their teeth without the adult teeth to replace them.

Upon reviewing X-rays, I determined that they had solid retained baby teeth and advised them that they were not going to fall out and to not worry about failure any time soon. I advised that they could have them for life if they keep them healthy and wears retainers.

To complete their smile, we decided to only do bonded composite work, this would give the patient the desired result and resolve the image of the teeth being crowded all while not damaging the teeth at all.

crown

case #1

Results: The patient was so happy they finally decided to get the work done. They is grateful to our team for providing him with the proper guidance and care. When they first came to us, they didn’t feel like they would ever be able to smile again and was amazed and pleasantly surprised to have a beautiful smile and function again.

Details: This case was accomplished with doing six (6) front crowns. The patient came to me about ten years prior with significant wear on their teeth and was not ready to dive into restorative dental work to regain the function and aesthetics. I remember the day when the patient came in roughly ten years later stating they was finally ready to move forward.

Unfortunately, their teeth had progressed to a more damaged state with compromised function and integrity of their dentition.

First, we had to get back to a stable position, we set off with doing orthodontics to create room to restore the front teeth by pushing the lower teeth back down. Allowing the patient to avoid root canals. After we moved the teeth to a proper position via braces, I added bonded composite to ensure the teeth appear more aesthetically pleasing with size/shape to guide the final orthodontic position. Lastly, were able to do four (4) front upper crowns and veneers on all four (4) canines gaining back desired function and aesthetics. In addition, we whitened the front teeth to improve the overall appearance.

crown

case #2

Results: The patient was thrilled to confidently smile with no longer having the peg laterals affecting their smile and self esteem.

Details: This was a fun case, with a 14-year-old kid who had congenital peg laterals, which are the shape/size they will always be. We went through some alignment with Invisalign and once I felt confident in the position and tissue maturity, I placed two (2) no prep veneers on the peg laterals with completing final position by the Invisalign trays.

crown

case #3

Result: This work was performed about a decade ago and every time I see the patient they are smiling proudly and always makes a point to thank us for helping him achieve their desires.

Details: This patient had struggled with always chipping their teeth and had no proper guidance from their dentist when asking what to do.

He was referred to me and after doing a comprehensive exam, we created a strategic plan that would provide the patient a path to gain back the function and confidence in their smile again. I did four (4) front upper crowns with composite in the inside of the upper canines in conjunction with two (2) veneers on the lower canines.

Additionally, I did contouring of their lower front teeth to create proper guidance to protect their teeth from doing the same damage again

crown

case #4

Results: The patient was ecstatic to see and feel how it was to smile with ease and confidence along with not trying to protect their teeth when smiling anymore.

Details: The patient was constantly reminded of how dissatisfied they were with their existing smile and front two crowns each picture or mirror they saw themselves in.

We restored the patients smile with doing two (2) new crowns and four (4) veneers on the adjacent teeth establishing proper guidance and aesthetics.

crown

case #5

Results: The patient was very pleased to recapture their beautiful smile and appreciative for the great care.

Details: Sadly I saw this patient earlier in the day for their cleaning and remember saying how beautiful their smile was. They ended up calling later that day with having fallen and traumatizing their front teeth. We had to do two (2) root canals due to fracture into the vital tissue (pulp) of the teeth. We then placed two (2) crowns on the front teeth.

She was so happy we were able to see her that day to get (her) out of pain and (recreate the smile) given what happened.

Details: The patient originally came to me to do veneers though with guidance and discussing options, we approached the case differently and I feel with an even better result.

case #3

Results: The patient was truly blown away with how their smile was transformed and they were extremely appreciative for all the great care and guidance we provided regarding their smile.

Details: The patient had six (6) current totally stable veneers, yet they were very much displeased with their smile and didn’t really know what it truly was but wanted it to be changed.

As we went through what they didn’t care for, other dislikes came up. The overall appearance of the veneer shape bothered her. Digging deeper, I brought up how when they smiled, they presented a very “gummy smile”. It was like a light bulb turned on and that was a critical turning point in our approach for their care. We had their tissue all raised “esthetic crown lengthening” on all upper teeth that they showed when smiling. This would require all new veneers yet would allow me to create proper proportions of the teeth capturing truly a new and brilliant smile.

case #4

Results: They loved their new smile not showing the gummy appearance and appreciated the more proportionate full contour of their new veneers.

Details: This patient did not like to smile because their gums showed too much and the teeth looked more square. We came up with a plan to perform “esthetic crown lengthening” on the front two center teeth with two (2) veneers on them with bonded composite on the adjacent teeth where they had worn them down.

case #5

Results: In the end, the patient was fully appreciative of the work performed, and they now has a smile they love.

Details: This was a great case to work through as the patient was not happy with their gummy smile and was not interested in doing any orthodontics. Based on that, we discussed other options for how to create a bigger smile and to present less gums when in full smile.

We did ten (10) porcelain veneers to expand and enhance the dimension of the smile along with raising the tissue (with “esthetic crown lengthening” ) to decrease the volume of gums seen while smiling.

case #6

Results: The patient loves their new smile and very much appreciates the guidance and dental care we provide.

Details: For this case we met to consider all options as they had severe wear on several teeth including malalignment and crowding.

The patient did not like how their teeth were not in their proper positions, a gummy smile, worn-looking teeth at angles that were not desirable.

We decided to do Invisalign to straighten the teeth, raise the tissue to decrease gumminess, do four front porcelain veneers and bonded composite on the canines and a couple of lower teeth to conservatively restore them and improve their function.

rehab

case #1

Results: The patient was exuberantly thrilled at the end of the journey and proudly (could) smile (and confidently eat again.)

Details: When I met the patient, they were under the care of a periodontist and a dentist for about ten years. They had a number of implants fail and was told “he could not grow bone and had been wearing temporaries on all their teeth during all these years. They had lost all hope and figured they would never be able to eat meat again. Our team designed a plan to help our patient achieve their dream of having a healthy stable mouth. We rebuilt their mouth with a total of 16 implants that spanned individual teeth along with bridging many missing tooth areas.

rehab

case #2

We presented how a team can masterfully work together to successfully accomplish the patients desires along with achieving each clinician’s goal too.

rehab

case #3

Results: The patient was totally thrilled to not have a removable piece anymore and loved how everything turned out.

Details: This patient was tired of wearing an upper partial denture and wanted to have something more permanent. This individual had a significant amount of bone and tissue loss due to not having teeth in the area for over two decades.

Options we discussed were to build back some of the deficiency and or add pink porcelain in this area and place two implants for a long-spanned bridge. Rather than opting to go through a bigger surgery to build back bone and tissue, this patient wanted to only do implants.

So, we built a bridge utilizing pink porcelain and added appropriately sized teeth for ideal aesthetics.

rehab

case #4

Results: The patient was thrilled that all the work was finally finished and appreciated the comprehensive care taken to give them the beautiful smile they always wanted.

Details: This patient presented with very crowded upper teeth and had many missing teeth on the bottom. Years prior they had a benign tumor in their lower right jawbone which resulted in the loss of 3 (three) teeth not including the wisdom teeth.

Her case was comprehensively worked up with a team including myself, an orthodontist, and a periodontist. While the teeth were positioned the implants were placed and I at one point added composite to the teeth for guiding the orthodontist better to the final position. The final solution to this case was restoring the upper teeth with 10 (ten) veneers and completing the implants with final crowns.

Rehab

case #5

Results: We accomplished the patient’s goals and desires in achieving a new youthful smile.

Details: For this patient they wanted to rejuvenate their smile as they had severe wear and damage to teeth.

To accomplish this, we worked up the restorative plan which included reestablishing the appropriate presents of the upper front teeth, creating proper function of the teeth, and giving the patient balance, harmony, and the ideal aesthetics.

This case required us to do a full mouth rehab that included restoring (almost) every tooth in the mouth.

trauma

case #1

Results: The parents and the kid where so happy to be seen quickly with great success recreating his tooth.

Details: This kid fell off their scooter and fractured off a portion of their tooth. We added bonded composite recreating a mirror image of the adjacent tooth including the natural ridges as what a kid’s tooth have

trauma

case #2

The results are great, and I would say the patient is happy with the approach and results.

trauma

case #3

Results: The patient and their mom left ecstatic and were thrilled that there were able to feel comfortable having their smile back.

Details: This child fell off their bicycle and fractured off a portion of their two front teeth. The parent called my emergency line after hours on Friday and I advised them to meet me at the office. After meeting the family and making them comfortable, I started the process of rebuilding their teeth. We added bonded composite recreating the natural shape and contours. Within a couple of hours, their smile was restored and they avoided a horrible weekend.

trauma

case #4

Results: The patient smiled and was so happy we made them feel whole again.

Details: This mother called my emergency line on a snowy day. They injured herself while protecting their child from going into a busy road while sledding causing them to fracture two teeth. After meeting the patient, I decided the best approach was to do a bonded composite. This conservative solution restored their smile and we avoided doing porcelain veneers.

trauma

case #5

Results: She was so happy we were able to see her that day to get (her) out of pain and (recreate the smile) given what happened.

She was so happy we were able to see them that day to get out of pain and given what happened.
